Controller Area Network (CAN) là công nghệ mạng nối tiếp, hỗ trợ hiệu quả việc điều khiển thời gian thực phân tán với mức độ bảo mật rất cao. Nó cung cấp các cơ chế xử lý lỗi và các khái niệm ưu tiên thông báo. Các tính năng này có thể cải thiện độ tin cậy của mạng và hiệu quả truyền dẫn. Hơn nữa, CAN cung cấp các khả năng đa tổng thể và đặc biệt phù hợp với kết nối mạng các thiết bị “thông minh” cũng như các cảm biến và thiết bị truyền động trong một hệ thống hoặc hệ thống con.
ICP DAS đã phát triển các sản phẩm CAN khác nhau trong vài năm, bao gồm các sản phẩm: Card truyền thông PCI CAN, bộ chuyển đổi tín hiệu CAN, Gateway, CAN Data Logger, PAC và mô-đun khe cắm.

CAN Data Logger
Các thiết bị CAN Data Logger (CAN-Logger100 / CAN-Logger200) là thiết bị ghi dữ liệu CAN bus thông minh hiệu suất cao với một/ hai cổng CAN có thể giúp thu thập dữ liệu và xử lý trên mạng CAN bus dễ dàng và nhanh chóng hơn. CPU mạnh mẽ của thiết bị CAN-Logger cung cấp dấu thời gian chính xác cho mỗi thông báo CAN và hỗ trợ phương tiện lưu trữ như thẻ nhớ SD hoặc SDHC để lưu các thông báo CAN này, rất hữu ích để phân tích và chẩn đoán mạng CAN Bus. Để nâng cao tính di động của CAN-Logger200, mô-đun này được cấp nguồn bởi giao diện USB hoặc các đầu nối M12 của giao diện bus CAN. Các thiết bị CAN-Logger sử dụng trình điều khiển USB HID tiêu chuẩn của hệ thống Windows.
